Note: In order to reduce the size of the commit history that is downloaded
(and reduce the time taken to download the platform software stack), append
"--depth=1" to the repo init command (without the quotes).
Should better be placed before the repo sync command.
I've been doing this thing maybe 4 or 5 times (from N1SDP 4 years ago and
recently) but every time I regret not putting --depth=1 because I discover
the note after I have given the repo sync command!
